CLM Scholarship

For any current chapter member interested
in taking the CLM exam, upon completion of
the examination, the chapter will reimburse
you for the test fee of $529.00 and $159.00 for
the purchase of the study guide available on
ALA’s website. You will have to pay for these
items up front and after the exam, submit your
receipts along with proof of taking the exam to
the CLM committee chair and you will be reimbursed
the full $688.00, whether or not you pass the exam
(but of course everyone is going to pass!).

Conference Scholarship Reminder 

  Member Scholarship Application

One of the many benefits of membership in the South Florida Chapter of ALA is the opportunity to attend a conference at a reduced cost or fully paid. The application is self-explanatory (see link above). 

In addition to the Annual and Regional conferences, ALA offers a Human Resources conference, an Intellectual Property Conference, Large Firm Principal Administrators Retreat, and Corporate Law Department Symposium. All of these events qualify for a scholarship.

December 16th, 2026

To apply for conferences, keep track of all the chapter events you attend throughout the year and submit your application to, Janette Lischner, Director.
